Buremba Junior Academy Day & Boarding Nursery & Primay School

Buremba Community Initiative (BCI) has a project that is implementing under Buremba Junior School to provide Education support to the people of Kazo and surrounding districts.

Buremba Junior School is a mixed day and boarding school located in Kijooha cell, Buremba Town council, 3Km along Buremba – Kazo road in Kazo District.

The school was started by the Directors; Mr. Ezra Kagira and Aikiriza Esther Kagira, in 2013.     The purpose of starting the school was to produce enlightened, God-fearing band responsible citizens under a School Vision “To make Buremba Junior school a center of hope for future generation.

Due to the high rate of illiteracy in the Buremba and Ankole region, the directors invented the idea of this school so that they can give knowledge to children in and around Buremba and Kazo district at large.

The school has a Nursery section, lower primary and Upper primary (Nursery – P.7) with good and productive administration:

Deputy H/M – Bahikire Fred

Director of studies – Beshumbusha Nelson

Finance representative – Karugaba Pius. And other teachers.   The school also has PTA Management Committee that also assist in the running of the school.

Buremba Junior School has a school farm that helps to produce enough food and diet for children at school, school gardens that help to promote agriculture at school.

Water tanks that provide enough water throughout the terms and enough infrastructures.
